Competition is one of the core pillars of martial arts.

It is by no means a requirement for every individual. We do strongly encourage some level of competition for our members. Many of the benefits of martial arts are acquired through competition. Stress management, comradery, work ethic, are just a few of the positive outcomes of being a competitor.

There are many ways to compete in martial arts at all levels. We suggest speaking directly with a coach about what fits best for you, as there are many levels and styles of competition. Local grappling tournaments amateur MMA professional grappling and MMA are all options but many need to be worked up to. A coach can help you structure your goals and start you where you need to be.

Don’t want to compete but would love to support the team. Consider attending and event as a spectator, or helping teammates warm up. Cheering sections are always appreciated by competitors.
