Youth Martial Arts

Kid’s/youth martial arts, particularly Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), offer numerous benefits. BJJ focuses on technique and leverage, helping children develop problem-solving skills and perseverance as they learn to overcome challenges on the mat.

A unique aspect of our youth program is the family focus. We are the only martial arts program in the valley where parents and kids can train at the same time. Our foundations practice and youth practice occur at the same time so that parents can train on one mat while their kids train a few feet away on the other. This turns your workout/ your kids activity into family bonding time.

The practice enhances physical fitness, including strength, flexibility, and coordination, while also fostering discipline, respect, and self-confidence. Additionally, BJJ teaches valuable self-defense skills in a safe and controlled environment. Overall, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu provides a holistic approach to physical and personal development, making it an excellent choice for kids. Our kids program caters to ages 4 to 13. We separate practice by age group to keep a strong student to teacher ratio and cater content to be age appropriate
